United States Flag – Should it Be Hung Upside Down?

Why have people been displaying flag upside down? It is an official signal of distress. Some believe this to be disrespectful. Should this be viewed as a sign of distress or a sign of disrespect?
Title 36, U.S.C. Chapter 10 as amended by P.L. 344, 94th Congress, Approved July 7, 1976 it states,
“No disrespect should be shown to the flag of of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.”
What does disrespect actually mean, other than dipping it to any person or thing? Not allowing the flag to touch the ground is pretty much known. Disrespect can be defined as “to regard or treat without respect; regard or treat with contempt or rudeness.”

Dire distress, protest or disrespect?
Some are flying the flag upside down for the sake of protest. However, under the code, the flying of the flag should only be done in “extreme danger to life or property.” This is why many in the service find the upside down flag to be disrespectful.
Over time many have desecrated the flag, via burning or other means. These normally were upheld as freedom of expression, or the judicial branch had no interest or found nothing sufficiently compelling to justify legal restriction.
Many flew the flag upside down after the election of 2012, showing protest against the , on Obama’s winning the Presidency.

I was out of town all last week, and missed my family crazy. This weekend, the kids wanted to see the new Captain America’s . Always up for a good action flick (preferably a character driven with a good storyline), I was not disappointed. While not giving the movie away, I was intrigued with the consistent theme of governmental compartmentalize, while the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Within the movie, Project Paperclip was mentioned.
I doubt very seriously many of the audience members caught it or even know about Project Paperclip.

Oklahoma Senate Bill Nullifies Common Core

It is rare, when something positive is provided in the News. The Senate Education Committee has passed a House bill to abolish Common Core standards. HB3399 was passed by an 11-0 vote to nullify the federally mandated standards, and provide its own standards, adopted by the State Board of Education by Aug. 1, 2014. This bill is an attempt to nullify Common Core.
The bill was sponsored and introduced by Speaker of the House Jeff Hickman, and the bill was passed March 25, 2014. The bill should put a halt on the disliked federally-controlled education. This will put the powers back to the State, and allow the state to remain sovereign.
New Deal legislation from the Federal government is an attempt for the federal government to seize more power over the states. These generally come with mandates imposed by the federal government in the name of standards. Once accepted, the power of the state is shifted over to the federal government.
, the apex of our laws, broke the powers into three governments. The Federal, State, and Local government should retain their powers. However, we continue to see a move of intra-Governmental relationships, where the Federal government is becoming more centralized and powerful.

The number of highly publicized banker’s deaths are up to 12. It was reported initially when 4 bankers died by “suicide” earlier this year. The number quickly moved to 5 deaths, but as of March, the number stands at 12. At least those of which we are aware.

In fact a 60% chance the Republicans will win the necessary six seats to take control of the Senate, with a 30% chance of acquiring 11 seats. Either way, former statistician believes the 2014 will be a win for the Republicans.

Once done, a collective 27 days was needed to make repairs in order to bring the substation back online.

Ever since fluoride was suggested to be added into the public drinking water, controversy erupted. Will it really help health teeth? Does it harm the human body? These questions are still being debated today. However, a new study may provide additional ammo for the non-fluoride crowd. The study performed in 2006 identified 6 additional neurotoxicants as the main cause of neurodevelopmental disabilities. One of the neurotoxin was identified as fluoride. Will this new study help remove water fluoridation?

Fluoridation in the public water supply became official policy in by 1951. By 2006, 69.2% of the population in is provided fluoridated water. According to the 2010 Water Fluoridation statistics, total population being fluoridated is 204,283,554 out of 308,745,538. That is a 66.2 %, a drop from 2006. Many communities are realizing ingesting fluoride for the sake of it, does not help the enamel of your teeth. This recently released 2014 study, titled Neurobehavioural effects of developmental toxicityreemphasizes fluoride as a neurotoxin. The online article clearly identifies the major pandemic comes from the industrial chemicals being dumped in the environment.
